1. Introduction / 引言
This Privacy Policy explains how Grid Player handles information when you use the app. We designed Grid Player primarily as a local and personal-server music player. We do not operate a cloud music library service for your music files.
本隐私政策说明 Grid Player 在您使用本应用时如何处理相关信息。Grid Player 主要被设计为本地及个人服务器音乐播放器。我们不为您的音乐文件运营云端音乐资料库服务。
2. Information We Process / 我们处理的信息
Depending on how you use the app, Grid Player may process the following information on your device:
- Music metadata, such as song title, artist, album, duration, year, genre, track number, cover image, lyrics, and file path.
- Local music files or cached music files selected or downloaded by you.
- Playlist, favorite, recent play, offline cache, and playback state data.
- Server configuration, including server address, connection type, username, password, token, folder path, and related settings you enter.
- Images you choose, such as custom artist portraits, playlist covers, or profile images.
- Purchase entitlement status provided by Apple if paid subscriptions or lifetime purchases are enabled.
根据您的使用方式，Grid Player 可能会在您的设备上处理以下信息：

3. How Information Is Used / 信息用途
The information above is used to provide and improve app features, including:
- Playing music and displaying your music library.
- Connecting to your selected local, WebDAV, SMB, Emby, Jellyfin, Navidrome, Subsonic-compatible, or other supported music sources.
- Managing playlists, favorites, albums, artists, covers, lyrics, search results, and offline cache.
- Restoring your app settings and music library state on the same device.
- Verifying paid feature access through Apple purchase systems when subscriptions or lifetime purchases are available.

4. Local Storage and Device Processing / 本地存储与设备端处理
Most app data is stored and processed locally on your device, including music metadata, playlists, favorites, cached files, covers, local artist portraits, and server settings. Some information may be stored in iOS-provided storage mechanisms such as the app sandbox, local database, UserDefaults, or Keychain where applicable.
If you delete the app, reset configuration, clear cache, or remove related files, the corresponding local data may be deleted and may not be recoverable.
本应用的大部分数据会在您的设备本地存储和处理，包括音乐元数据、歌单、收藏、缓存文件、封面、本地艺术家头像及服务器设置。部分信息可能会根据功能需要存储于 iOS 提供的应用沙盒、本地数据库、UserDefaults 或 Keychain 等机制中。

5. Network Access and Third-Party Services / 网络访问与第三方服务
When you connect to a server or music source, the app communicates with the server address you provide. Your server credentials and media requests are sent to that selected server as necessary for login, scanning, metadata loading, streaming, downloading, and playback.
Grid Player does not control your third-party or self-hosted servers. Those services may collect or process information according to their own policies. Please review the privacy practices of any service you connect to.
当您连接服务器或音乐来源时，本应用会与您提供的服务器地址通信。为完成登录、扫描、加载元数据、串流、下载和播放功能，您的服务器凭据及媒体请求会按需发送至您选择的服务器。

6. Apple Payments and Subscriptions / Apple 支付与订阅
If paid subscriptions or lifetime purchases are added, payments will be processed by Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Apple may provide us with limited transaction or entitlement information needed to unlock paid features, restore purchases, manage subscription status, and comply with App Store requirements.
如果未来加入付费订阅或终身买断，付款将由 Apple App Store 处理。我们不会接收或存储您的完整支付卡号。Apple 可能会向我们提供用于解锁付费功能、恢复购买、管理订阅状态及满足 App Store 要求所需的有限交易或权益信息。
7. Permissions / 权限说明
The app may request permissions only when needed for specific features, such as:
- Local network access: to discover or connect to servers on your local network.
- Files or media access: to import, scan, or play music files selected by you.
- Photos access: to choose images for artist portraits, playlist covers, or profile images.
- Network access: to connect to your configured music sources and load media content.
You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Disabling permissions may affect related features.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not upload your music files to our own server as part of the core music playback features. Information may be shared only in the following limited situations:
- With servers or services you choose to connect, as required to provide app features.
- With Apple, for App Store payments, subscriptions, purchase restoration, crash diagnostics, and platform services subject to Apple policies.
- When required by applicable law, legal process, or enforceable government request.
- With your consent or at your direction.

Grid Player may rely on Apple-provided diagnostics, crash logs, and App Store analytics if you have enabled sharing with app developers in iOS settings. These reports are used to identify crashes, improve performance, and maintain app quality. They generally do not include your full music files, passwords, or complete server credentials.

10. Security / 安全
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the app. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, Apple ID, local network, and server accounts.

11. Data Retention and Deletion / 数据保留与删除
Local app data is generally retained on your device until you delete it, clear cache, reset configuration, remove the relevant music source, or uninstall the app. Data stored on your own servers is controlled by you or the server provider. Purchase records are handled according to Apple policies.

Grid Player is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. If you are a minor, please use the app with the consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian.

13. International Use / 跨境使用
If you connect to servers located in other countries or regions, information may be transmitted to those locations at your direction. You are responsible for ensuring your use of connected services complies with applicable laws.

14. Changes to This Policy / 政策更新
